The Food and Drug Administration, a very pro-vaccine government organization, has stopped Merck’s attempts to increase the approved age range for death-linked HPV vaccine Gardasil to 45. It appears that even the FDA is concerned about the effects of the Gardasil immunization, which has been tied to over 49 deaths along with countless negative reactions that have led to hospitalizations and crippled health.

The FDA stated that clinical data presented by Merck, the creator of the vaccine, failed to show that Gardasil effectively prevented infections in women 27 to 45 years old. This is particularly shocking due to the fact that pharmaceutical companies oftentimes illegally alter the numeric turnouts of studies regarding the effectiveness and safety of their drugs and immunizations. What this means is that in the event Merck smeared the results, they were still unconvincing enough to pass by the FDA, an agency that allows for genetically modified foods to be consumed by United States despite the warnings of health experts and major studies worldwide.

Her parents are convinced the controversial Herpes Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine is behind their daughter Lucy’s mystery illness. Lucy is now in a vegetative, semi-sleep state where she “sleeps” for 23 hours per day.

Tests have so far ruled out a brain tumor and/or glandular fever, and the 13-year-old’s pediatric consultant is investigating potential links with the vaccine Cervarix. The shot was part of a national vaccination program which started in September 2008 — but it has already been linked to several more recent cases of girls displaying severe side-effects.

RESULTS: Overall, 29% and 14% received ≥1 dose and ≥3 doses of vaccine: 14.5% and 3.0% among 11-12 year old girls, and 34.8% and 18.7% among 13-17 year olds, respectively. Hispanics had higher uptake of ≥1 dose (odds ratio (OR) 1.63, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.22-2.17) than whites. Having received an influenza shot in the past year and parents' awareness of the vaccine were significantly associated with receiving ≥1 dose (OR 1.88, 95% CI 1.51-2.33 and OR 16.57, 95% CI 10.95-25.06) and ≥3 doses (OR 1.48, 95% CI 1.13-1.92 and OR 10.60, 95% CI 5.95-18.88). A separate multivariate model based on girls who initiated the vaccine did not identify any significant correlates of 3-dose series completion. Among parents of unvaccinated girls, 60% were not interested in vaccinating their daughters and mentioned three main reasons: "does not need vaccine" (25.5%), "worried about safety" (19.3%) and "does not know enough about vaccine" (16.6%). Of those who were interested, 53.7% would pay $360-$500 for the vaccination, while 41.7% preferred to receive it at a much lower cost or free.

The flurry of interest on the HPV story continues. Medical doctors have been in touch to reinforce the problem of “false promises” I mentioned in my last post.

(NaturalNews) Controversy over the safety of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine has led to a resolution to end mandates requiring young girls to receive it. If passed by the Virginia state Senate, a bill recently passed by the Virginia House of Delegates will end mandates put into place in 2007 requiring 11- and 12-year-old girls to receive the HPV vaccine before entering sixth grade.

"We just want to make sure parents are evaluating the risks of what they're giving their daughters, and not a legislative body," said Del. Kathy J. Byron (R-Lynchburg), sponsor of the bill. "I don't think that we have the medical degree to make those decisions."

The House voted 61-33 to end the mandate, leaving only Washington D.C. with HPV vaccine mandates. Texas Gov. Rick Perry attempted to mandate the HPV vaccine for young girls in 2007 through an executive order, but lawmakers effectively blocked it.
